In 1988, the National Capital Area Chapter established an endowment to provide scholarships to the greater Washington, DC area students attending WVU. Current WVU students with a permanent home address in the Washington metro area may apply for the John F. Nicholas, Jr/NCAC Scholarship by contacting:

All NCAC Sustaining/Lifetime Membership fees of $200 each are contributed along with funds raised from NCAC activities, events and individual gifts from members. The proceeds are invested and managed by the WVU Foundation along with all other alumni chapter scholarship funds. At present the Nicholas/NCAC fund of over $100,000 is the second largest alumni chapter fund administered by the foundation.
You may make contributions to the fund by making your check payable to the WVU Foundation with the notation for the Nicholas/NCAC Scholarship and forwarding it to the WVU Foundation, P.O.
