Our mission is to help West Virginia University alums in the Washington, DC 
area stay connected to the University, provide assistance and promote the Mountaineer Spirit.
We are committed to promoting the goals, visions and pride of WVU in our Nation’s capital. We host a number of events each year to support those goals. Our events include:
- Annual Crab Feast
- Annual Golf Outing
- Congressional Luncheon featuring WVU’s President and the State of the University Address
- Networking Events
- Mountaineer Alumni Sports
- Official GameWatch Events
- Virginia Gold Cup Races
- Happy Hours
- Group Outings (pub tours, Nationals baseball games, concerts, bus trips and more)
100% of the proceeds from our events are given back to the University. We support the WVU Foundation, the Mountaineer Athletic Club and University sponsored events in the Washington, DC area and our own John F. Nicholas Scholarship Fund.
