WVU Alumni’s New Soccer Team to Compete this Spring

The Who, What, Where, When, and Why of WVU Alumni Soccer!

Who: Anyone! We prefer players with some knowledge or playing experience but players of all levels are welcomed! So whether you’re looking to relive college glory or just looking for a fun way to stay in shape and meet with fellow Mountaineers this is a good team for you.

What: Depending on interest we will either take part in the 7 vs 7 or 11 vs 11 league format.

Where (based on 2013 information):

• 11 vs 11: McKinley Tech 151 T St. NE Washington, DC 20002
• 7 vs 7: TC Williams 3300 King St Alexandria, VA

When: Games are played on Sundays with practices during the week (TBD depending on team preference). Other important dates (based on 2013 information):

• February 1-19 –  Application Goes online
• February 22 – Teams announced
• March 4 – Black-out schedules due (tentative)
• April 7 – Season Starts

Why: It’ll be fun!
