Wreaths Across America at Arlington National Cemetery

Thank you to those that joined the WVU NCAC/WV State Society team for wreath laying at Arlington National Cemetery on December 13th

At 9:30 we opened our truck and soon after were inundated with people.  Not only did our efforts place 3,000 or more wreaths in two sections of the cemetery, but we helped a few people find the graves of their loved ones whom had not been visited by a family member in years.  Also, thanks to donations that allowed the entire cemetery to be covered for the first time, I got the following comment:

“I have come out here for years with my own wreath, as the section where my father is buried has never been decorated.  This year I arrived and a wreath had been placed on the grave…for the first time ever!  Thank you so much!”

If you didn’t make it this year, mark keep your calendars clear for December 2015.  We’ll keep you updated once the date is released for this amazing event.

Very respectfully,

Mr. Chris Greaver
